Prices: All prices are as per the current price list unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accommodation charges are payable in advance. Cheques need to be supported by a Bankers Card or given time to clear.
Telephone bookings are welcome and hold for one week to enable you to confirm and pay the provisional reservation deposit.
Provisional Reservation deposit is 20% of total accommodation cost. It is payable when booking and normally not returnable if you cancel.
The Balance of Accommodation costs should be paid within four weeks. A reservation is only guaranteed when it is paid in full. If you do not pay the balance on time we reserve the right to re-let the reservation to another
party. If we are able to do so we will return your deposit.
If you book less than four weeks before you come the full accommodation cost should be sent with your confirmation.

sole use of the coach house and little cottage. However, if you have more than 22 you must pay for them all. If your Group requires sole occupancy for a single night, Friday or Saturday, You must pay for all 20 beds/26 beds.
Cancellation: A provisional reservation confirmed with a deposit and acknowledged by us in writing is binding and because we then refuse other bookings for the same period we expect to be paid in full.* As with any other
holiday it is wise to take out cancellation insurance.
Overnight accommodation: Covers the period from 5pm on the day of arrival to 11.30am on the day of departure including day time use during the inclusive days. Charges include bed linen, hot water, gas, heating and
electricity to our apparatus.
Daytime Hire: Day use of the Coach House for meetings or by groups wishing to use the premises as a centre for activities throughout their day of arrival or departure can be arranged but must be booked in advance to ensure
that it does not clash with the requirements of other groups. Day use is normally from 10am to 5pm and the charge includes, heating, use of kitchen, showers and reasonable cleaning by us. If extensive cleaning, washing of crockery etc., is required a charge will be made.
Self Catering: For the benefit of others it is expected that you will keep the place reasonably tidy, wash up and put your own gear away as you go along and clear your own litter into the bins provided. Please leave the
kitchen and toilet areas as you would wish to find them and do not disturb bunks other than your own.
You are expected to leave the Coach House/ Little Cottage as you find it. The price does not include service.
Catered meals: Meals need to be ordered in advance and are served at a mutually agreed time. If you choose not to take a meal which is ordered you are still required to pay for it. Packed lunches are prepared for 9.00am. If you have a
very early departure we will supply them the previous night for you to keep in the fridge.
Full service: The Coach House is essentially a self service establishment where you can stay for a very modest price by looking after yourselves. If your party is unable or unwilling to do it's own chores you should tell us in advance so we can agree a mutually acceptable service charge.
Damage: Our insurance policy requires us to pay the first £200 of any claim so all breakages and damage must be paid for. We reserve the right to make our agreement to your occupancy conditional upon you paying a damage bond in advance.
Jane&Guy Williams
*It is with the utmost regret that we have adopted this policy. Weekends and peak times are frequently applied for by several groups well in advance and some have been prepared to pay our small holding deposit and cancel when it's too late to replace the booking. When circumstances such as ill health or bereavement force you to change plans we will do what we can to find alternative customers for your booking. A proportionate reduction or refund will be made if we are able to re-let all or part of your reserved space.
Time keeping - Organiser's notes:
The Coach House is not a youth hostel. We want you to come and go as you please so we avoid curfew rules as far as practical. However, it is communal living and it is not possible to have one group carousing 'til the small hours and another trying to get to sleep at 10pm.
When more than one group is booked in together the rule is lights out and quiet by 11.30pm.
If your group wants to have a party or come in very late and sleep out the next morning you must book the whole Coach House. The same applies if you look for peace and quiet so you can turn in early and be out early in the morning.
Arrival time: Please ensure that you or some other responsible member of your party arrives before 10pm. If this is not possible please telephone so we can make alternative arrangements.
